This notice explains EKCOW’s (the “Company”) passport and flight ticket (boarding pass) autofill for electronic arrival/departure forms, and the review steps you should complete before submitting. Collection, storage, and consent for passport data are governed by the Privacy Policy and in-app passport data consent.
Article 1 (Purpose)
This notice describes the role of autofill, your review process before submission, and how unverified submissions may affect external screening outcomes.
Article 2 (Nature of autofill)
Autofill is an assistive feature that helps complete forms using passport, flight ticket, and related data you saved or selected.
Omissions or errors may occur due to site/form changes, recognition or mapping limits, or outdated saved data, so a pre-submission review is required.
Sensitive Yes/No items (e.g., health, security) are not auto-selected; you must review and choose them yourself.
Article 2-2 (Data used and storage)
Passport: Uses saved passport data (up to 10 records). You may choose device-only or encrypted server storage; server mode may mirror the same data on your device.
Flight tickets: Uses saved boarding pass data (up to 8 records: passenger name, PNR, airports, flight number/date, seat, etc.). When logged in, data may sync encrypted to servers.
Passport and boarding pass scan images are not stored on servers.
With server storage and consent, phone number, birth year, and gender from the passport may be applied to your profile (see the Privacy Policy).
Article 2-3 (External sites via WebView)
Autofill opens government arrival/departure sites in an in-app WebView. Saved or selected data may be assistively filled into form fields; those sites’ terms and policies apply. The Company does not auto-submit to government sites without your review.
Article 3 (Your review process)
Before submitting, please verify that all autofilled fields (passport, flight, stay/declaration details, etc.) are accurate, and correct them if needed.
What is submitted to government, airline, or border authorities is based on what you review and confirm.
Using autofill does not replace your review and correction steps.
Article 4 (Scope of the service)
The Company provides autofill to make form completion easier. Screening or entry outcomes at external authorities (such as rejection, return, delay, or additional review) that arise in the following cases are outside the scope of this feature:
Errors or outdated information you entered or saved
Submitting without reviewing or correcting autofill results
Submission of unverified information
External site/policy/system changes, network failures, or other causes beyond the Company’s reasonable control
Article 5 (Confirmation records)
When you first confirm this notice in the app before starting autofill, the Company stores a confirmation history (including time and version). If the notice changes and re-confirmation is required, the app may prompt you again.
Article 6 (Related terms)
This notice covers pre-run confirmation and disclaimer for autofill. Collection, retention, deletion, and withdrawal of consent are governed by Article 7-4 of the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Server storage consent for passport data is managed separately from this notice via in-app passport data consent.
