Article 7‑2 (Translation and learning)
Using translation and learning requires consent to location‑based processing and anonymous translation statistics as described in the Location Terms and Privacy Policy. Without consent, those features may be limited.
- Translation accuracy: AI/automatic translation is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Medical, legal, immigration, and other critical documents require professional verification.
Article 7‑3 (Age verification and demographic statistics)
- Age limit: Only users 14+ may use the Service. The Company may verify age at sign-up or during use.
- Birth year (profile): Birth year is required during onboarding (profile setup) for age-14+ verification only. We collect birth year only, not full date of birth.
- Age band and gender use: Gender and age band (derived from birth year) that you optionally provide may be used only in aggregate, non-identifying statistics for tailored recommendations across translation, learning, community, marketplace, and business features. Gender is optional; basic service use is unaffected if you do not provide it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Article 7‑4 (Passport and immigration autofill)
- Passport storage: Members may store passport data for immigration form autofill (up to 10 records). Default is device-only; encrypted server storage is optional.
- Server storage and mirror: If you choose encrypted server storage and consent, the same passport data may be mirrored in device secure storage. Switching to device-only deletes server-stored passport data.
- Profile sync: With server storage and consent, phone number, birth year, and gender from the registered passport may be applied to your profile.
- Flight ticket storage: Members may store boarding pass data for autofill (up to 8 records). Data is stored on the device; when logged in, it syncs encrypted to servers. Scan/boarding pass images are not stored on servers.
- Autofill assistance: With consent, the Company may assist field entry on government immigration sites opened in the in‑app WebView. Sensitive health/security Yes/No items are not auto-selected. Submission and approval remain the user’s and authority’s responsibility.
- Usage notice: Before first autofill run, the Company may collect confirmation of the Autofill Usage Notice (/terms/passport-autofill).
- Disclaimer: The Company is not liable for autofill accuracy, government site changes/outages, or immigration outcomes.
- Details on collection, retention, and deletion are in the Privacy Policy.
Article 7‑4‑2 (Passport or Flight Ticket Start — login and sign-up)
- Sign-up and login: Users may register and re-login via on-device passport scan/OCR or boarding pass scan/barcode recognition. Scan images are not stored on servers; text fields are encrypted.
- Social linkage required: For both passport and flight ticket paths, linking Google, Apple, or Kakao is required during sign-up. Sign-up cannot complete without social linkage.
- Account identification: The passport path identifies the same passport and account via passport fingerprint (PF, HMAC hash) and social account. The flight ticket path uses the social account as primary identification, with flight ticket fingerprint (FF) assisting re-login and duplicate detection. Scanning a passport later may create a PF merged into the same member.
- Device and lock: Re-login may use credentials stored on the device with PIN or biometrics. If the device or PIN is lost, users may recover via re-scan or social login.
- Prohibited conduct: Using another person’s passport or boarding pass, false information, or abuse (e.g., repeated PIN failure) may result in restrictions.
- Collection, retention, deletion, and consent details are in the Privacy Policy.
Article 7‑5 (App updates and OTA)
- App updates: The Company may provide store updates or in‑app update notices for security, stability, and improvements. Important updates may limit use until applied.
- OTA patches: The Company may deploy partial code/resource updates via OTA (e.g., Shorebird) without a full store release for bug fixes, performance, and UI adjustments.
- Notice and consent: Material changes to Terms or privacy rights via OTA follow Article 4 notice/consent procedures.
- Disclaimer: The Company is not liable for failures due to network issues, device compatibility, or failure to apply updates without Company fault.
Article 7‑6 (Sharing, deep links, and landing)
- Sharing: Members may share posts, businesses, and content via links, deep links, or QR codes to app screens or landing pages.
- Third‑party services: External sites/apps reached via shared links are governed by their own terms; the Company is not responsible for their content, security, or transactions.
- Access limits: Web guests may use features available on the linked screen; member‑only features require login.
- Prohibited use: Phishing, malware distribution, or abusive link generation is prohibited.
Article 8 (Platform nature and liability)
Important
- Intermediary platform: For marketplace and business services, the Company is an intermediary, not a party to transactions.
- Transaction responsibility: Performance, quality, payment, delivery, and refunds are between the parties.
- Platform duties: Provide information, handle reports, act on clearly illegal content, and operate stably.
- Disclaimer: The Company is not liable for party‑to‑party performance, product quality, fraud, disputes, payment/shipping issues, or transaction losses, except for damages caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Service interruption)
The Company may suspend services for maintenance, force majeure, facility failure, traffic surges, provider contract termination, or other unavoidable reasons, with prior notice where possible.
Article 10 (Posts and copyright)

Infringement, unauthorized faces/personal data in content, and copyright violations are prohibited; the Company may delete or block posts and accepts takedown reports via customer support.
Article 11 (Prohibited conduct and items)
Members must not engage in false registration, identity theft, IP infringement, defamation, obscenity or violence, commercial misuse of scraped data, fraud, duplicate spam listings, harassment, phishing, or trading prohibited items (drugs, weapons, obscene material, counterfeits, stolen goods, etc.). Restricted items (alcohol, tobacco, medicine, devices) require licenses where applicable.
Article 12 (Comments)
Comments must be constructive; abusive, advertising, spam, or illegal comments may be removed. Use direct contact for trade inquiries.
Article 13 (Marketplace)
Marketplace is C2C intermediation; the platform does not process payments. Members are responsible for listings and transactions; follow safety tips and resolve disputes primarily between parties; the Company may sanction clear fraud or illegality.
Article 14 (Business orders/reservations/delivery)
- Nature of service: The Company intermediates B2C orders, reservations, delivery, and dine‑in between businesses (restaurants, massage, lodging, etc.) and customers. Business subscription fees may be waived under onboarding promotions and, if introduced, will be announced in advance.
- Intermediary role: The Company relays order/reservation/delivery information only; businesses are responsible for performance and contract fulfillment.
- Company role: Business listings, order/reservation systems, information relay, and connecting businesses with customers.
- Business responsibilities: Confirming and fulfilling orders/reservations, service quality, menu/service accuracy, hygiene and safety, and compliance with local law.
- Customer rights: Cancellation per business policy, reporting service issues, and writing reviews.
- No‑show and cancellation: Repeated no‑shows may limit Service use; business policies apply.
Article 15 (Coupons and promotions)
- Coupon issuance:
- Company event coupons: The Company may issue and operate event/promotion coupons.
- Business coupons: The Company provides business coupon issuance and management features.
- Coupon policy: Conditions, validity, and restrictions are stated at issuance; non‑transferable; generally non‑cashable; no duplicate use unless stated.
- Cancellation: The Company or a business may cancel fraudulently obtained or used coupons and may sanction the Member.
- Prize regulations: Coupon and prize offers comply with applicable Korean prize‑promotion rules where applicable.
Article 16 (Monitoring and reporting)
Reports may be filed for illegal content, harassment, sexual content, spam, privacy violations, post‑based chat (PostChat, business inquiries), comments, etc. Members may also block other users in the app separately from reporting. The Company reviews reports and may warn, suspend, or ban accounts. A sanctions matrix similar to the Korean version applies (spam/abuse, hate, sexual content, crime, privacy, fraud, violence). Appeals may be submitted within 30 days to support. Details also appear in the Operations & Content Policy.
Article 17 (Privacy)
- The Company complies with the Privacy Act, Network Act, and related laws to protect users’ personal data.
- Collection, use, provision, and destruction of personal data follow the separate Privacy Policy.
- Optional personal data: The Company collects only what is needed for the Services. Phone number and gender are optional with separate consent; basic service use is available without them. Birth year is required during onboarding for age-14+ verification. Location is optional.
- Item-by-item consent: Optional items (phone, gender, location, etc.) require separate consent with clear purpose and retention period.
- Members may access, correct, or delete personal data at any time; optional items may be deleted or withdrawn individually.
- Withdrawal of consent: Members may withdraw consent for optional items at any time; withdrawn data is deleted promptly. Withdrawal may limit related features but does not affect basic service use (except birth year, which is required for onboarding and profile completion).
Article 18 (Location)
Location is sensitive. The Company may collect and, where necessary, store location on servers with encryption (e.g., AES-256) for nearby search, map features, travel content, post tagging, etc., with optional accuracy levels (HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW/CITY_ONLY). Identifiable location data is deleted when posts are removed or consent is withdrawn; upon account withdrawal, deletion is completed within 30 days per the Privacy Policy. Details are in the Location Terms.
Article 19 (Travel media)
Upload only content you own or are licensed to use. On‑device editing and HLS streaming with optional device cache may be used; quality depends on device and network. Obtain consent for identifiable persons; follow displayed max video length; obscene or harmful content is prohibited.
Article 20 (Advertising)
The Company may show non‑personalized ads only (no IDFA/GAID tracking for personalized ads) and is not liable for third‑party sites. Sponsored posts must be labeled “[Ad]” or similar. Push notifications may cover service/transaction messages and marketing; marketing pushes require consent or can be opted out in settings where applicable.
Article 21 (Youth protection)
No membership under 14; restrictions for under‑19 on alcohol, tobacco, adult services, and harmful media; age verification may be used.

Article 27 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
